Ten-year-old Francis lives with his mother and four siblings in Boapea, Liberia.  Francis has been READY to go to school since he was five, but his mother could not afford it.  His father abandoned the family some years ago.  Francis wants to be a doctor.  His favorite pastime is playing football with his friends in the community.  Francis is thankful to be in pre-kindergarten class and appreciates the gift of this GPA scholarship.
