January 2024: Fifty-one-year-old Yah cares for her family of seven through subsistence farming.  Her husband died of Ebola in 2014 leaving Kou with the responsibility of caring for their family.  She has met this responsibility head on by applying creativity and hard work to growing her farming enterprise.  Now that her children are older, they can assist with the farming activities.  Kou requested and was granted a farming supplies package so they can have more tools to work with and grow a larger farm.
