January 2024: Forty five year old Esther’s husband has been sick with an unknown illness.  He can no longer help with the farming activities and Esther has been working their subsistence farm to support their family of six.  Esther wants to expand her farming enterprise by bartering with other farmers to help out.   This cultural practice of helping out when a parent falls sick and cannot help with the farming activities is a plus for the Esthers of Liberia.  She was granted a farming supplies package.
