January 2024: Luah is a fifty eight year old widow living with her grown children and grandchildren.  Luah and her children are subsistence farmers; growing rice and cassava for household consumption and selling in the market.  Luah has experienced tragic loss- her husband died as a result of a tree falling on him when he was cutting trees to make charcoal and one of her sons died of Ebola.
