BLESSING: E441-SAN

JUNE 2022:  Blessing is a 33-year-old widowed mother of 3 children who lives in
Sanniquellie, Liberia with her children. Her children are ages 8, 5 & 2 years old.
Blessing has sickle cell. Her husband was a nurse at a local hospital. On his way
from work two months ago, he was hit by a group of motorcyclists who were
racing on the highway at excessive speed. He was killed on the spot. Blessing has
been struggling to keep the disease under control and support her children at the
same time.  Thanks to the generous donation from BETA SIGMA PHI
WISCONSIN EPSILON ZETA MADISON CHAPTER, Blessing will be selling
baked goods in the local market to help sustain her and her family.

June 4, 2022: We are sorry to report that Blessing passed away a few weeks after
her empowerment due to lack of blood. Her 3 young children who are now
orphans, have been given to friends and family to live.
