Abortha was promoted to third grade and still want to be a nurse when she grows up. She still lives with her aunt. Abortha shared she is excited about school this year because she is striving for a double promotion which will place her closer to her age-appropriate grade level. Meet Abortha, who has been generously sponsored by Meicher Family Charitable Foundation. She is 10 years old and in the 3rd grade this year. She lives in Gbeleyee Town, Liberia with her aunt. Her father used to abuse her mother often and was not supporting the family. Her mother was forced to abandon her daughter due to the abuse. Her interests are learning and she hopes to be a nurse when she grows up.
