SUAH: S303-DUA

October 2022

2022

Suah was promoted to eleventh grade!  She is proud of her achievement to be a junior in high school.  During our interview, she said “I know my Dad is proud too”. Continuous school enrollment is a challenging journey for children like Suah, whose parents cannot afford to send them to school.  A child graduating from high school positions a family to break the generational cycle of poverty that plagues many of Liberia’s families. Suah still wants to be a doctor and live with his mother. Sponsored by: Lori Kilstrom Higgins

Meet Suah, who has been generously sponsored by Maureen & Sarah Rowe. She is 15 years old and in the 7th grade this year. She lives in Duazon, Liberia with her mother. Suah’s father, who has been helping her to go to school, has recently passed away. The family needed assistance from Girl Power to continue her education. She hopes to be a doctor when she grows up.
