Thanks to the generous donation from Phil Vasby, Junior has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. He was promoted to K-2 this year and still wants to be a police officer when he grows up. He is one of the first to arrive to school and cleans the classroom each morning. He continues to live with his mother.

Meet Junior, who has been generously sponsored by Amanda Drake. He is 8 years old and is going to school for the very first time. Junior lives in Gehwee, Liberia with his mother. According to the school, Junior goes to the school campus everyday and sits by the classroom. Because his mom could not afford to buy him school uniforms and pay for his tuition, he was not allowed to enter. Junior is all smiles knowing that he’s going to be sitting in the classroom with the rest of the students this year! He will be in ABC this year and his interests are learning and playing with friends. He hopes to be a police officer when he grows up.
