JESSICA: S276-DUA

September 2021: Thanks to the generous donation from Tracy Tiedeman, Jessica has been re-enrolled into school for the 2021/2022 school year. She received an incomplete for the 2020-2021 school year.  Due to COVID-19 outbreak, schools in Liberia had irregular school schedule. This combined with the lack of technology in the schools, some schools made the decision to keep students in their current grade level for the 2021-2022 school year. Jessica was kept in her current grade level of 4th for the upcoming school year. She continues to live with her aunt and still wants to be a teacher when she grows up.

September 2020: Thanks to the generous donation from Tracy Tiedeman, Jessica has been re-enrolled into school for the 2020/2021 school year. She has received a double promotion and is in the 5th grade this year. She still wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She continues to live with her aunt.

October 2019: Thanks to the generous donation from Tracy Tiedeman, Jessica has been re-enrolled into school for the 2019-2020 school year. 

June 2019: We are pleased to announce that Jessica was promoted to the 3rd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Tracy, thank you for your sponsorship and giving your student a gift of education through Girl Power Africa. 

2018:  Meet Jessica, who has been generously sponsored by Tracy Tiedeman. She is 14 years old and in the 2nd grade this year. She is an orphan who lives in Duazon, Liberia with her aunt. Recently, her aunt had a massive stroke and is unable to send Jessica and her 3 siblings to school. Her interests are going to school and she hopes to be a teacher when she grows up.
